Transit of Venus is an acoustic quartet born in Oakland. We play what moves us – be it bluegrass, soul, or cross-generational pop. Our simple line-up features mandolinist Zac Matthews (co-founder of Hot Buttered Rum), Jordan Klein on banjo, soulful stand-up bassist Andrew Thomas, and Mike Sinclaire on the Martin dreadnought guitar.
